Hello there!

I’m Dixie, a chef, born and raised in South Wales, to an English father & a Dominican mother now living in London.

Growing up our family had a small deli so food has always been the number 1 topic. I have been a chef for more than 15 years and have used my skills to branch out into other areas.

These days I am a freelance chef. I do social media management for food companies + food styling for photoshoots. I develop recipes and write about them.

In 2025 I made my own podcast called Roots Food Talks where I explore the connection between food and mixed heritage.
